Children’s Ministry
We love kids at New Providence! We offer Sunday morning experiences for ages birth through 5th grade. We have nursery/preschool classes that focus on free play, music and simple, bible-based lessons while building relationships with our teachers. K-5 begins as a whole group to hear the main lesson and then break into smaller groups (K-2 and 3-5) to dig deeper into the lesson with age-appropriate activities. We strive in all areas of our ministry to make sure that each Sunday our kids have fun, feel safe in a structured environment and learn about the stories in the bible. We encourage partnering with parents in the child’s spiritual development. Kids start out worshipping with their parents at the start of service and are dismissed to class before the sermon.
Wendy Danner and Bethany LeBlanc are the leaders for the Children’s Ministry. If you have any questions about the Children’s Ministry, please contact the church at 765-526-2462 or officenpbc@ccrtc.com.

Youth Ministry
Grades 6- 12 (BOB’s) meet every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month. They have topical studies that are relevant to problems they face for their age group. They learn biblical truth to deal with outside pressures and help strengthen their faith. Fun events, such as lock-ins, movies, Outings… are planned once a quarter and are used as an outreach to invite friends.

Yada
Yada Sisters Book Club began in the fall of 2018 with the introduction to Neta and Dave Jackson’s Yada Sister Prayer Group books. We started with 12 members and over the last three years, and 18 books later, the group has grown to 20 as we develop deep friendships. We’ve explored the impact of crime, anger between friends, prejudices, homelessness and the impact of the death of a beloved family. We’ve worked together on projects such as gathering socks for Feed the Streets initiative in downtown Indy and created art projects. Together we have attended Women of Joy and experienced the Wonder of Worship with thousands of women. We have cried tears together at the loss of one of our original member due to cancer. While we are a book club, not a Bible study, the books we select are Christian based fiction that can be applied to our lives.
Women’s Minstry
The purpose of the women’s ministry at NPBS is to promote spiritual growth in women and lead them into a deeper understanding of biblical truths. We hope that women learn the truths from the Bible to help them defend their faith. Katie Mosley is the Women’s Ministry leader. Missions
We support abroad range of missions including local missionaries, and parachurch organizations. We also support missionaries in the US and in Haiti and Africa. Our mission is patterned after the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18.
